I will tell you a beautiful story.

As I descibe myself in This is me: Traveling makes you speechless. And in my case it does. I love to travel. I do not have a car because l spend my money on traveling. A good friend of mine asked me once, when we were in Istanbul and had visisted the Topcapi Palace, if impressions like this change me. I thought about it for a little while and came up with the answer; yes they do. Every trip l take does something to me. New places, talking to people on other continents and see things from theier point of view, yes they do. And l am thankful for it.

So, some years ago l was on a bustour in Great Britain. We had been driving through most of the beautiful landscape of the southern part of England and Bath was one of the places on our tour. Bath is a the lagrest city in the ceremonial county of Sommerset and known for its Roman-built bath. Google www.visitbath.co.uk and you will find all the information you want about the city.

We were sitting outside at a coffeeshop on the Abbey Courtyard. With the spectaulare view to both the cathedral Bath Abbey and the historical Roman Bath. There were alot of artists performing theier skills and talents. Selling theier CDs and collecting tip so that they could continue theier work.

I was enjoying my coffee and a violinist in front of me played Summertime by George Gershwin. That is the most beautiful song l ever know. I used to sing it in a studentchoir and also for my grand daughter when she was a baby. When he had finished his wonderful performance l approached him and gave him some money. l told him that it was my favourite and he played it so  beautifuly.

l went back to my chair continuing my coffee and the conversation with my travel companions. After a while he stared to play it again. I looked at him and he turned to me and bowed, still playing. What a gesture. I placed my hand to my heart and gave him an air kiss. It would have been great if he could read this. l will never forget it.

Traveling makes you speachless, and than turn you in to a story teller.
